If you are angry, do not sin. Do not let the sun set on your anger, and do not give the devil an opening.Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil.

Return and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people: Thus says the Lord, the God of David, your father: I have heard, I have seen your tears. I will heal you today, and the day after tomorrow you will go up to the temple of the Lord.Turn back, and say to Hezekiah prince of my people, Thus says the Lord, the God of your ancestor David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; indeed, I will heal you; on the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. Every day, united in spirit, they would assemble together in the temple. They would break bread in their homes and share their food with joyful and generous hearts as they praised God, and they were regarded with favor by all the people. But for you who fear my name the sun of justice will arise with its healing rays. You will emerge leaping like calves released from the stall.But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
Do not be afraid or dismayed, the Lord will go before you; he will not fail or forsake you.It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
If a man has recently been married, he is not to go off to battle nor have any other duty laid on him. He will be free to stay at home for one year so that he can bring happiness to the wife whom he has married.When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be charged with any related duty. He shall be free at home one year, to be happy with the wife whom he has married.

If they say, ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing.The young lions suffer want and hunger, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.If only they had such a mind as this, to fear me and to keep all my commandments always, so that it might go well with them and with their children forever!
You shall obey his statutes and the commandments that I give you today, so that all may go well with you and your children after you, and that you may live long in the land that the Lord, your God, has given you for all time.Keep his statutes and his commandments, which I am commanding you today for your own well-being and that of your descendants after you, so that you may long remain in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.

Better is a neighbor who is nearby than kindred who are far away.
This rather is the type of fast that I wish: to loosen the fetters of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to set free those who are oppressed and to break every yoke.Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?
In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.

Plans miscarry when counsel is lacking, but they succeed when there are many counselors.Without counsel, plans go wrong, but with many advisers they succeed.
A highway will be there that will be called the Way of Holiness. No one who is unclean may pass over it; it will serve as a path for pilgrims and no fool will be able to use it.A highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Holy Way; the unclean shall not travel on it, but it shall be for God's people; no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray.
Then Peter came up to him and asked, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy times seven.”Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”

I came from the Father and have come into the world. Now I am leaving the world and returning to the Father.I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father.
