I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law. The love of money is the root of all evils, and in their desire for it some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many serious wounds. 1 Timothy 6:10	For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up. Romans 15:2	Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. selfishness encouragement neighbor
By faith Abraham also received the power of procreation, even though he was well past the age—and Sarah herself was barren—because he believed that the one who had made the promise would be faithful in fulfilling it. He has satisfied the thirsty and filled the hungry with good things. Psalm 107:9	For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. reliability food
For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God. It does not come from works, so that no one can boast. But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe. Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For I am longing to see you so that I may bestow on you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or, rather, so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.
