The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. | Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. |
The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. | The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. |
Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. | Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. |
So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading. | So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us. |
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it. | Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. |
For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf. | For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. |
