Chinese (traditional)- By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life. - Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
- Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.
- For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.Next verse! With image
