For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf.For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.
For His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading.So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.
The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy hand will be put to forced labor.Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.
If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
