Believers who are poor have something to boast about, for God has honored them. And those who are rich should boast that God has humbled them. They will fade away like a little flower in the field.Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.
Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!
As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died. But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
The father of godly children has cause for joy. What a pleasure to have children who are wise. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, And he who begets a wise child will delight in him.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free. The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed.
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the Lord our God has given us.Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.
You must diligently obey the commands of the Lord your God—all the laws and decrees he has given you.You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound.

But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
