| But surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. | Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. |
| So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?” | So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. |

| Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.” | And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. |
| Because I delivered the poor who cried, and the orphan who had no helper. | And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever. | And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. |
| When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf. | But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. |
| But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you. | But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. |
| Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. |
| Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, just as you have said. | Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. |
