- Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.

How he entered into God’s house at the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”
He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.” - But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
- “For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Therefore turn yourselves, and live!”
- Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing,
unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets. - So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’
- Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.
- So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
