- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. - Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. - Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
- Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it. - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Better is little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble therewith. - I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
