For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.For am I now seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And I wait for His word.
You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.
Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident.
Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?
In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning, For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.

But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
