Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. | You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. |

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. | You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. |
For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” | For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.’ |
I have taught you the way of wisdom; I have led you in the paths of uprightness. | I will teach you wisdom’s ways and lead you in straight paths. |

The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. | The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you. |
I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass. | I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear? |
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” | Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” |
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever. | And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. |
In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? | There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? |
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. | I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! |
But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’ | This is what I told them: ‘Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!’ |
Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. | Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. |
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. | When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. |

You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine. | You must be holy because I, the Lord, am holy. I have set you apart from all other people to be my very own. |
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. | Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. |
Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. | Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. |
