If anyone (3/4)

Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe.Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
To anyone who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself overcame and sat with my Father on his throne. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
A man is joyful when he utters apt answers, and even more satisfying is a word in season.A person finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word!
The Lord does not delay in keeping his promise, as some think in terms of delay, but he is patient with you. It is not his wish that any should perish but rather that all should be brought to repentance. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
If someone says, “I love God,” but at the same time hates his brother, he is a liar. For whoever does not love the brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you should arm yourselves also with the same intention. For anyone who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin. Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.
Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
The one who leads a blameless life and does what is right, who speaks the truth from the heart and does not slander anyone, who does not harm a friend and does not scorn a neighbor. The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others.
Woe to anyone who rises up against his Maker, or to the pot that is displeased with the potter. Does the clay say to the one who molds it, “What are you doing? Your work makes no sense.”Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Does your work say, ‘The potter has no hands’?
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, keep my commands.
Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
Anyone who is victorious will be dressed like these in white robes, and I shall not blot his name from the book of life. Rather, I shall acknowledge it in the presence of my Father and his angels. The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be accomplished for him.Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
One who despairs should have the support of his friends even if he has forsaken the fear of the Almighty.Anyone who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
And if one should fall, his companion will help him up. How pathetic is the man who is alone and falls and has no one to assist him to his feet.If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you then will truly be free.So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
If your brother should sin, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. Even if he wrongs you seven times a day, and comes back to you seven times to say, ‘I am sorry,’ you must forgive him.If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.
What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life? What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I dwell in him.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
