| Those who withhold kindness from a friend forsake the fear of the Almighty. | To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend, Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. |

| If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one. | Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. | And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. | But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. |
