| If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. | Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. |

| If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. | If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. | If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. |
| Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. |
| Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. | Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. |

| He is in the way of life who heeds correction, but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray. | He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. |
| What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
| Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?” | Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? |
| If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing. | And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. |
| For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. | For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |

| Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. | Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. |
