If (3/4)

In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off.
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me.Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die.But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Suppose you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin.If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
John replied, “If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry.”He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”
Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.
God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

So if your eye—even your good eye—causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
