However, if we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all wrongdoing. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God.But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.
Amen, amen, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither is one who is sent greater than he who sent him.
This is the message that we have heard from him and that we declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him. This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.

In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
This is how we know what love is: he laid down his life for us, and we in turn must be prepared to lay down our lives for our brethren.By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
Then Jesus said to him, “You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
God’s love was revealed to us in this way: God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him.By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him.
I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing.I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
Dear children, you are from God and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
If anyone wishes to serve me, he must follow me. Where I am, there also will my servant be. If anyone serves me, my Father will honor that person. If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
And now, dear children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming. Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
