- How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word. - And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?
- But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me. - Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
- In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise. - If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
- Remove falsehood and lies far from me;
Give me neither poverty nor riches—
Feed me with the food allotted to me. - Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
- But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.
- Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
- It is honorable for a man to stop striving,
Since any fool can start a quarrel. - Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
- Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - A talebearer reveals secrets,
But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain. - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
- Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
