In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me.In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your gracious Spirit lead me along a level path.Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
If you are angry, do not sin. Do not let the sun set on your anger, and do not give the devil an opening.Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
Teach me your ways, O Lord, so that I may walk in your truth; let me worship your name with an undivided heart.Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord; O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cries of supplication.Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.”In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
At dawn let me experience your kindness, for in you I place my trust. Show me the path I must walk, for to you I lift up my soul.Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Let no foul word ever pass your lips. Say only what is useful for edification, so that your words may benefit your listeners.Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe.Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
For we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out. If we have food and clothing, let us be content with these. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he protects the souls of his faithful ones and rescues them from the hand of the wicked.Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help.Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Let my teaching fall down like rain, and my words descend like the dew. Like rain upon the sprouts, and like showers upon the grass. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled; be not afraid.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
