| By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him. | In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. |

| What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? | What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? |
| Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. | Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. |
| I love the Lord, because He hears My voice and my pleas. Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. | I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
