Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you.”
For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.

Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.But in your great mercy, you did not destroy them completely or abandon them forever. What a gracious and merciful God you are!

But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds.Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. As I gave you the green herb, I have given everything to you. But you must never eat any meat that still has the lifeblood in it.
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today.You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.“Abba, Father,” he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”
