| So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. | There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. |
| Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? | Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? |
| And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families. | And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. |
| These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. | But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. |
| Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. | Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. |
| But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children, to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments. | But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. |
| To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. | Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. |
| Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. | Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. |
| For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. | Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. |
| God shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear him! | God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
| Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. | Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. |
| Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. | Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. |
| For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. | My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. |
| Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; forget not the afflicted. | Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. |
