Loving God (2/4)

Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Make your face shine on your servant; save me in your steadfast love!Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

For your steadfast love is great to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
But I am the Lord your God from the land of Egypt; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no savior.Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love.Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy.
Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
And that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
