A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.A person’s pride will bring him low, But a humble spirit will obtain honor.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.The Lord makes poor and rich; He humbles, He also exalts.

And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will glorify the lowly with salvation.
