He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.
Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.
He who follows after righteousness and kindness finds life, righteousness, and honor.Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.
That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death.I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death.

No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanses us from all sin.But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
Deep calls to deep at the noise of your waterfalls. All your waves and your billows have swept over me.I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me.

For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret.
He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”
Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever.Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps.For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.
Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.
Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.
The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!”
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.

Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
