A man’s pride brings him low, but one of lowly spirit gains honor.A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom.When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.
For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with salvation.For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth.If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.
They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but a fool is swallowed by his own lips.The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.
God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
