Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back. Luke 6:30	Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. debt giving generosity
And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! Luke 6:33	And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. righteousness reward

Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. Luke 6:38	Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a bowl or hides it under a bed. A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house. But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.” Luke 8:50	But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” fear faith healing
Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers! Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23	Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” obedience crucifixion
If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. Luke 9:24	For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. sacrifice life
Then he said to them, “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.” Luke 9:48	And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.” humility Jesus
Heal the sick, and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God is near you now.’ Luke 10:9	And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ healing sickness nearness
But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven. Luke 10:20	Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven. joy heaven eternal life
The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Luke 10:27	So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ” law love obedience
And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.” Luke 11:28	But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” Word of God life listening
The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Luke 12:2	For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. truth honesty
Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear! Luke 12:3	Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. sin speaking listening
What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. Luke 12:6-7	Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.” Luke 12:15	And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” money greed materialism
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing. Luke 12:22b-23	Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. worrying food life
Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! Luke 12:24	Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? food life worrying
So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom. Luke 12:32	Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. fear Father kingdom

But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.

But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
