| The Lord God then formed a woman out of the rib that he had taken from the man. He brought her before the man. The man said, “This one is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken from man.” This is why a man leaves his father and his mother and joins with a wife, and the two become one flesh. | And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. |
| For everyone born of God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith. | For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. |

| Put on the armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the deceit of the devil. | Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. |
| And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God who has marked you with his seal for the day of redemption. | And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. |
| In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents. | Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. |
| Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you. | Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. |
| The time of fulfillment has arrived, and the kingdom of God is close at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. | The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. |
| You need to be steadfast if you want to do the will of God and receive what he has promised. | For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. |
| Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?” | Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? |
| God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. | So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. |
| I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing. | I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. |
| Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.” | Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. |
| Whoever possesses the Son possesses life; whoever does not possess the Son of God does not possess life. | He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. |
| However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God. | But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. |
| You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. | Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. |
| May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ. | And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. |
| But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness. | But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. |
| As servants of God, behave as free people, but do not use your freedom as a means to cover up wrongdoing. | As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. |
| And the world with all its enticements is passing away, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. | And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. |
| He replied, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female’ and said: ‘That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two become one flesh’? And so they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.” | And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. |
| Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” | Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. |
| Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame. | Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. |
| Then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven, and there he took his place at the right hand of God. | So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. |
| I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. | These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. |
