Matthew 24:24 (3/5)

Give us today the food we need.Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face. Then no one will notice that you are fasting, except your Father, who knows what you do in private. And your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.Judge not, that you be not judged.
And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
