Bible Verses about 'Message'

For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another. For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.
For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.
So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
And if you say in your heart, ‘How will we recognize the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, and the thing does not happen or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.You may say to yourself, “How can we recognize a word that the Lord has not spoken?” If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it.
Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and exhort, with great patience and instruction.Proclaim the message; be persistent whether the time is favorable or unfavorable; convince, rebuke, and encourage, with the utmost patience in teaching.
So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.”Then Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.”
You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.
From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of armies. This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ. And every day in the temple and at home they did not cease to teach and proclaim Jesus as the Messiah.
How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was beneficial, and teaching you publicly and from house to house.I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house.
Truly, truly I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him.Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them.
Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. Now I would remind you, brothers and sisters, of the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you in turn received, in which also you stand, through which also you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message that I proclaimed to you—unless you have come to believe in vain.
The heavens tell of the glory of God; And their expanse declares the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge.
So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing.
Now all this took place so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled: “Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet: “Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means, “God is with us.”
So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place, as to whether the Christ was to suffer, and whether, as first from the resurrection of the dead, He would proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles. To this day I have had help from God, and so I stand here, testifying to both small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would take place: that the Messiah must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.
