| My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.” | I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” |
| Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you. So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name. | Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. | I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word. | I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation; I place my hope in his word. |
| I am Yahweh your God. Walk in my statutes, keep my ordinances, and do them. Make my Sabbaths holy. They shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God. | I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God. |
| Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin. | Have mercy on me, O God, in accord with your kindness; in your abundant compassion wipe away my offenses. Wash me completely from my guilt, and cleanse me from my sin. |

| I will multiply your offspring as the stars of the sky, and will give all these lands to your offspring. | Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. | O Lord, you have examined me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I stand; you perceive my thoughts from a distance. |
| For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. | For I will provide the weary with all they need, and I will restore the strength of all those who have grown faint with hunger. |
| I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God while I have any being. | I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have life. |
| If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. | And if then my people who bear my name humble themselves and pray to me and seek my presence as they turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and restore their land. |
| My doctrine will drop as the rain. My speech will condense as the dew, as the misty rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb. | Let my teaching fall down like rain, and my words descend like the dew. Like rain upon the sprouts, and like showers upon the grass. |
