My pleasure (2/4)

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.
In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears. For I am your guest— a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long.
Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.
I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.”
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.
If ye love me, keep my commandments. If you love me, obey my commandments.
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger.
Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.
O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee.I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
