Let your kindness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.
And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good.And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer. However, the face of the Lord is set against those who do evil.The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.
Finally, find your strength in the Lord and in his mighty power.A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

The law of the Lord is perfect, affording refreshment to the soul. The decree of the Lord is worthy of trust, imparting wisdom to the simple.The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
Rejoice with all your heart, O daughter Zion. Shout for joy, O daughter Jerusalem. The precepts of the Lord are right, causing the heart to rejoice. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving light to the eyes.The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
There is only one thing I ask of the Lord, just one thing I seek: to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, so that I may enjoy the beauty of the Lord and gaze on his temple.The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.
Blessed be the Lord, day after day, the God of our salvation, who carries our burden. SelahPraise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.
Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name; proclaim his deeds among the peoples.Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
For this day in the city of David there has been born to you a Savior who is Christ, the Lord.The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!
