And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword.Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ.
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!
For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.”For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.”
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers. So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.”Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil; joy fills hearts that are planning peace!Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan peace have joy.
“Don’t you understand either?” he asked. “Can’t you see that the food you put into your body cannot defile you? Food doesn’t go into your heart, but only passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer.” (By saying this, he declared that every kind of food is acceptable in God’s eyes.)And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.)
Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
