The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. | The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. |
For am I now seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. | For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. |
Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; Make His deeds known among the peoples. | O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. |

It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in people. | It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. |

A person’s gift makes room for him And brings him before great people. | A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. |
But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.” | And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. |
Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased. | Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. |
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will glorify the lowly with salvation. | For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. |
Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. | Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. |
By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another. | By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. |
Open your mouth for the people who cannot speak, For the rights of all the unfortunate. | Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. |
But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses. | But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. |
One who walks with wise people will be wise, But a companion of fools will suffer harm. | He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. |
Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine. | Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine. |
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen for His own inheritance. | Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. |
And on that day you will say, “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted.” | And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. |
For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. | For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. | But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. |
