Bible Verses about 'Possessions'

Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.
He said to them, “Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.”And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God.
The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.
But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase.Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce.
If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s.For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.
