Better is a little with the fear of the Lord Than great treasure, and turmoil with the treasure.Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it.
Without consultation, plans are frustrated, But with many counselors they succeed.Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.
A person has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word!To make an apt answer is a joy to a man, and a word in season, how good it is!
The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, And before honor comes humility.The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor.
Commit your works to the Lord, And your plans will be established.Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Better is a little with righteousness Than great income with injustice.Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice.
The mind of a person plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
One who pays attention to the word will find good, And blessed is one who trusts in the Lord.Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.
