A fool rejects his father’s discipline, But he who complies with rebuke is sensible.A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
Better is a little with the fear of the Lord Than great treasure, and turmoil with the treasure.Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.
Without consultation, plans are frustrated, But with many counselors they succeed.Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
A person has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word!A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

A rich person’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own imagination.The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.
Before destruction the heart of a person is haughty, But humility goes before honor.Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

A person’s gift makes room for him And brings him before great people.A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
