| The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. |
| Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments. | Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. |
| It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment. | A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. |

| I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. |
| Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to Yahweh’s law. | Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. |
| Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart. | Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. |
| I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments. | I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. |
| How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. | Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. |
