Psalm 16:1 (9/9)

But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.Deliverance belongs to the Lord; may your blessing be on your people! Selah
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety.
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch.
Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield.
What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless.Rise up, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; do not forget the oppressed.
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.But I trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.
The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others. Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart; who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors.
