But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. | But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. |
Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. | Salvation belongs to Yahweh. May your blessing be on your people. Selah. |
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. | In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety. |

Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. | Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless. |

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. | He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; he who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man. |
