- Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
- And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.Next verse!With image
