Bible Verses about 'Romans 3:23'

  • For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.
  • Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
  • But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction.
  • Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.
  • And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
  • For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
  • For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  • For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
  • But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
  • For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
  • So that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
  • Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
  • For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.
  • And do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God.
  • For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
  • What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
  • But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
  • For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
  • Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
  • For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
  • For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.
  • And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
