Bible Verses about 'Rule'

The Lord your God will bless you as he has promised. You will lend money to many nations but will never need to borrow. You will rule many nations, but they will not rule over you.For the Lord your God will have blessed you just as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender. The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.
Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave. The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy hand will be put to forced labor.
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.
Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.
But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you on my behalf. But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.
A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.Like a city that is broken into and without walls So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit.
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over every ruler and authority.
Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool; even less are lies fitting for a ruler.Excellent speech is not fitting for a fool, Much less are lying lips to a prince.
Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city. One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And one who rules his spirit, than one who captures a city.
Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.
But Lord, you remain the same forever! Your throne continues from generation to generation. You, Lord, rule forever; Your throne is from generation to generation.
Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.”
So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.So that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations.I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your judgments before me.
As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.
The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’
The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments is everlasting.
For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us.For the Lord is our judge, The Lord is our lawgiver, The Lord is our king; He will save us.
So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality. Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do.For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations. And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances.

But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations. We have sinned, we have done wrong, and acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances.
