| You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him. | Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. |

| Therefore let’s make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience. | Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. |

| Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. | Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. |
| For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. | For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. |
