For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.

I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
