As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness.
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known.
Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to him: “Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.”Take words with you, And return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity; Receive us graciously, For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.”
Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?“Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?”
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.
Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
Everyone comes naked from their mother’s womb, and as everyone comes, so they depart. They take nothing from their toil that they can carry in their hands.As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return, To go as he came; And he shall take nothing from his labor Which he may carry away in his hand.
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence.Do not envy the oppressor, And choose none of his ways; For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright.
