- Being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken it. - For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit.
- For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
- A gentle tongue is a tree of life,
but deceit in it crushes the spirit. - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
- A cheerful heart makes good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
- For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.
- Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance.
- There is no one as holy as Yahweh,
for there is no one besides you,
nor is there any rock like our God. - Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit.
O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.
- For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
- When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
