You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected. Matthew 24:44	Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come. Messiah second coming end times
So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. Hebrews 4:11	Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience. sabbath obedience rest

But consider the joy of those corrected by God! Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin. Job 5:17	Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects. Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. punishment suffering blessing
So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law. Galatians 5:1	Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Jesus life redeemer
The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. Psalm 25:8-9	Good and upright is Yahweh, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way. He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way. righteousness humility learning
So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall. Romans 14:13	Therefore let’s not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother’s way, or an occasion for falling. gentleness judgment neighbor
So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. John 8:36	If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. Jesus redeemer freedom
So obey the commands of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and fearing him. Deuteronomy 8:6	You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. obedience law awe
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. Mark 11:24	Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. faith prayer receiving
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. 1 Corinthians 15:58	Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. obedience reward encouragement
So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. James 4:4	You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17	Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. creation Jesus rebirth
But when you had eaten and were satisfied, you became proud and forgot me. Hosea 13:6	According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted. Therefore they have forgotten me. materialism pride dependence
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31	Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. food life worship
So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. James 1:21	Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. salvation Word of God evil
You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. Romans 2:1	Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin. 1 Peter 4:1	Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin. sin suffering
So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. 1 Peter 1:13	Therefore prepare your minds for action. So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. Matthew 12:31	Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. sin forgiveness Spirit
I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! Psalm 116:1-2	I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy. Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. love worship listening
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16	Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. righteousness healing prayer
If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:8	For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s. death life

Remember that you were once slaves in Egypt, but the Lord your God brought you out with his strong hand and powerful arm. That is why the Lord your God has commanded you to rest on the Sabbath day.

You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and Yahweh your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm. Therefore Yahweh your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
