God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist, that no flesh should boast before God. | God chose those in the world who were lowly and despised, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who were regarded as worthy, so that no one could boast in the presence of God. |

But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. | However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God. |
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. | Consequently, anyone united to Christ is a new creation. The old order has passed away. Behold, all has become new. |
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. | I can do all things in him who strengthens me. |
All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. | Whatever you ask for in faith-filled prayer, you will receive. |
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. | Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things. |
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God. | For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all is God. |
For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit. | And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God. |

The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. | The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. No one claimed any of his possessions as his own, for everything was held in common. |
He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! | The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! |
For of him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen. | For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. |
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. | Beloved, I pray that everything is going well with you and that your bodily health is equal to that of your soul. |
