Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.All the believers were one in heart and mind. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. When goods increase, they increase who eat them, and what advantage has their owner but to see them with his eyes?As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them?
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
